Fundraising is not only a school thing, many people fundraise for different reasons.
Fundraising can be beneficial in many ways. It helps people feel good to give to others, you need to meet successful fundraising.
A father of a Corbett student, Cody Peese said, “An organization will benefit from fundraising because they’re earning money for the company and themselves.’’
Sometimes students need to help raise money for their schools in order to have the extra money for equipment. A kid could fundraise for a church and school at any age, but outside of that is there really an age.
“Unless it’s for an organization, school, or churches, you should probably be 18 or older to fundraise without an adult,” Peese said.
Many people can fundraise for more than school equipment. You can help raise money for organizations like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which helps kids with cancer and finding a cure. For example, students in the Corbett Crochet and Crafting Club make handmade greeting cards to sell. The profits go to an organization to help people.
Peese agrees that fundraising for an organization is helpful as well as a good deed spreading around.
